Brandon Louie
"Playing with the team was a great opportunity for me to rediscover athletics and competition after my injury, and even earned me a chance to play at the collegiate level. Traveling around the country with other disabled people, I learned a lot of life skills and tips that have made me more confident in my ability to independently navigate college"
Ella Rodriguez
Participating in adaptive sports gave me the opportunity to practice building my confidence, independence, and leadership amongst peers like me. I would have never became the person I am without these experiences.

Matthew Hatae
"While participating in sports it made me stronger and I made better friendships. A quote is keep moving forward especially through the hardship"
Arianna Lorher
"As a disabled athlete, I always felt out of place in able-bodied sports. When I found wheelchair basketball, it gave me the community and lifelong friendships I needed. Through that community, I learned to be proud of who I am and embrace my disability."

Koda Inman-Ahlstrom
"I owe a great deal of my success to adaptive sports. Myself and many of my former teammates share this sentiment and understand the challenges that growing up with a physical disability can present. Participating in competitive adaptive youth sports not only gave me the opportunity to travel, form lifelong friendships, and compete, but it also provided the mental tools to overcome the barriers I faced throughout my life. Through sport, I learned how to be independent and maintain a positive mindset regarding my disability.
It is what led me to compete at the collegiate level while attending USA tryout events. It is also the reason I have obtained my academic and vocational dreams. I now work to provide these opportunities to others. Without access to adaptive sports, I would not be where I am today."
Daniel Diana
"Adaptive sports have made a huge impact on my life. Before I started playing wheelchair basketball, I always like an outsider because of my disability. Being able to compete in sport with other people that were like me made me feel like I finally belonged somewhere, build my self-confidence, and taught me how to be independent."
